Sis Lavery is a licensed certified addiction specialist. As an addiction specialist, she has worked in the field for 30+ years. She has also worked with sexual abuse survivors, women’s issues, LGBTQ issues, stress reduction techniques, veterans issues, numerous mental health diagnosis’ including multiple personality disorder, and she has worked extensively in family therapy, gaining much of her family training from Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. Sis has spent her career walking with her clients through their ups and downs of life. She is available for individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy.

Sis Lavery received her B.A. in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 1980.  She graduated cum laude from California University of Pennsylvania in 1987 with a masters degree in Community Agency Counseling. She is retired from the Navy Reserves, and resides in Winston Salem with her life partner of 27 years, Kelley, their daughter, Pearle, or P3 as she is affectionately called, and their two dogs, Winston and Bella.
